San Diego’s Coastal Sports and Wellness Medical Center is a one-of-a-kind 12,000 square foot sports medicine and fitness facility in the Carmel Valley and Torrey Hills area of San Diego. Our Primary Care and Sports Medicine area included individual medical exam, chiropractic and massage rooms for our board-certified family medicine and sports physicians to diagnose and treat your medical problems and sports issues. Our sports medicine center has on-site x-ray and musculoskeletal ultrasound to help you sports medicine doctor quickly diagnosis sports injuries and begin the process of sport-specific rehabilitation and physical therapy in order to get you back to your sport and active lifestyle. 
Our San Diego sports medicine physicians care for athletes and active patients from the elite world class and Olympic athlete to “weekend warriors” and general fitness fans. Our doctors are trusted by USA Triathlon, the Hawaii Ironman Triathlon and the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour to care for the medical and sports injuries of their elite athletes and we deliver that same high-level primary care and sports medicine care to all of our patients.
Our 6,000 square foot rehabilitation and personal training area is unique in San Diego, and has the high-end sports training equipment to help rehabilitate you from injury and get you back to your sport quicker and stronger, reducing the risk of re-injury. Our post-rehab workouts also focus on improving muscle strength, function and flexibility, all important components of preventing a future injury.

Our Computrainer Multirider Indoor Cycling Center is the first of its kind in San Diego! Try an indoor cycling class based around the science of power training and see how you can gain a 20% increase in your cycling power in as little as 6 weeks. Our indoor cycling center features an interactive video system that allows you to ride on some of the most popular triathlon courses in the world or “suffer” through an intense interval training session designed by our sports training staff to get you the best race results this season. We offer daily classes guaranteed to get you faster and stronger on your bike. Our classes are taught by cyclists and specifically directed at triathletes and cyclists – you won’t find your typical spin class crowd here!
Coastal Sports and Wellness’ Physiology and Performance Center allows us to determine VO2max and lactate testing with our sports medicine director or one-on-one bike fits with US Cycling Hall of Fame member and 3-time US Olympian John Howard. The Sports Medicine Center also offers VO2 max and lactate threshold testing for runners, cyclists and triathletes and works closely with local coaches to help determine optimal training programs.
