Scott Richardson - San Diego Acupuncturist
Scott Richardson is an experienced licensed San Diego acupuncturist, sports massage therapist, and a local San Diego triathlete who understands the effects of endurance training on muscle soreness and recovery. He is a graduate of San Diego’s Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and a long-time San Diego resident.
Besides Scott’s acupuncture and sports massage interest, he is also an avid triathlete and can now claim the title of “Ironman Finisher” after completing Ironman China in conditions that included high humidity and temperatures exceeding 112 F!
Scott’s triathlon background combined with his sports massage and acupuncture training uniquely helps him understand the needs of active and athletic acupuncture and massage clients.
Scott focuses his acupuncture and massage techniques to help clients recover faster after that late season race or hard workouts. Scott’s Eastern Medicine training also allow him to provide alternative treatments for patients that may prefer not to take medications or who’s problem may not have been cured by a traditional “Western Medicine Only” approach.
